Hi Jason There is not enough free space because LatinIMEGoogleTVPrebuilt is included in the FW. INNOPIA requested 3PL to check if LatinIMEGoogleTVPrebuilt can be removed. The answer for the 3PL is... If there is no problem with Google Test, you can remove it. So, INNOPIA is currently in a situation where LatinIMEGoogleTVPrebuilt has been removed from FW. Can FXN also check with 3PL to see if it is possible to remove this apk file? Thank you YK.Jung |

Hi YK, I think INNOPIA's 3PL doesn't read requirement carefully. I've attache the requirement. Android TV devices running Android 12 "MUST" include all required Google apps, with the following APKs. Even though automated test doesn't require test LatinIMEGoogleTVPrebuilt. But we can not violate the rule. I attache the ATV11's requirement. ATV11's rules are more stricter than the ATV12's Not only prebuilt LatinIMEGoogleTVPrebuilt but also set it as default IME. Thanks, Jason |

Hi Jason First of all, for Smart3/Smart3mini/AI models, SKB/SPTEK decided to remove LatinIMEGoogleTVPrebuilt as default. (Removed due to lack of free space), so the commit you mentioned was done ( it is a SPTEK common module ) Here, we will add LatinIMEGoogleTVPrebuilt only for FXN models ( Smart3 ATV10 / ATV12 , AISoundMAX ATV10) So please make a Android.mk(or makefile) to add LatinIMEGoogleTVPrebuilt only for FXN models. I think it is not difficult, but SKB requested it to us. SPTEK will then apply it please check it Thank you YK.Jung |

Hi Jason I discussed it with SPTEK. This ime folder is a common folder, so SPTEK will send me the user guide(Flag setting method) because it can cause issues with other models if FXN modify it incorrectly. I think you can apply that method. I will let you know when I receive the guide after SPTEK's test. Thank you YK.Jung |

HI Jason FXN can decide whether to include LatinIMEGoogleTvPrebuilt by setting the flag below on device.mk. Inlcude GoogleTV IME : INCLUDE_GOOGLETV_IME = true Exclude GoogleTV IME : INCLUDE_GOOGLETV_IME = false or not exist (default) SPTEK has committed as follows. ( please check attached piture ) LOCAL_OVERRIDES_PACKAGES := LatinIME ifneq ($(INCLUDE_GOOGLETV_IME), true) LOCAL_OVERRIDES_PACKAGES += LatinIMEGoogleTvPrebuilt endif If you want to add LatinIMEGoogleTvPrebuilt, please add INCLUDE_GOOGLETV_IME = true for each model at device.mk and commit.
